Description: This creamy, delicious, dairy noodle pudding treat is a classic Eastern European dish based on my mother's recipe, passed down to her from my bubby (Jewish for grandmother). It remains a universal favorite as a sweet side dish served with a bagel spread at brunch, baby naming celebrations, shiva gatherings, dinner side dish and a symbol to ring in a sweet new year! Also tasty as an afternoon snack with milk or tea.
Ingredients: Egg noodles, sour cream, cream cheese, butter, sugar, eggs, apricot, cornflakes, cinnamon, lemon, fruit pectin.
Goes great with: Bagels and lox, Chicken, Salmon, Brisket, Easter/Christmas/New Year dinner or a sweet treat with coffee or tea.
Portions: Medium offers 6 to 8 pieces (8" x 6" tin). Large is triple in size providing 18 to 24 pieces (12" x 9.5" tin).
Preparation: Our kugels are par-baked, fresh frozen. To enjoy them at their best, be sure to defrost and reheat uncovered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. Cut into squares and serve!
